The reliability of photovoltaic (PV) modules operating under various weather conditions attracts the manufacturer’s concern since several studies reveal a degradation rate higher than 0.8% per year for silicon-based technology and reached up to 2.76% in harsh climate. lifetime PV is decreased because numerous modes. Electromigration delamination are two failure modes that play significant role modules’ output power losses. correlations these phenomena not sufficiently explained understood like other failures such as corrosion potential-induced degradation. Therefore, this review, we attempt elaborate on correlation influence electromigration module components metallization organic materials ensure modules. Moreover, effects, causes, sites tend face failures, particularly silicon solar cells, detail. Elsewhere, factors aging vary temperature humidity change from one country another. Hence, accelerated tests standards used perform test have been covered review.
